How to Complete the Case of the Missing Totopian in Lost Ark

Players have to complete The Case of the Missing Totopian to get The Totopia Island Token in Lost Ark. Before The Case of the Missing Totopian, they must complete 5 days of Una’s Task: Totopia Tutor for a Day, the Ugly Little Pigerett, and Her Name quest.

In Totopia island, there’s an investigation quest that requires you to determine the reason why a resident went missing. During this mission, you must converse with a dog (Coco) and obtain its testimony, which includes dialog trees.

However, the dog will be running, you have to open its dialogue and read through it, and it will close immediately due to the dog running away or another player doing that part of the quest instead.

It means that you cannot read what the dog has to say and respond to it without searching for its answers on google or YouTube, simply because other players are doing the same quest.

How to Complete the Case of the Missing Totopian

The only way to complete The Case of the Missing Totopian is to follow Coco to his exact stopping point. Make sure you press the ‘G’ quickly to cause the text to roll, move your cursor over the correct text option every time to click it, and ensure that he doesn’t get away before you’ve completed the quest.

It might take several attempts, and you may not even read a single word of the quest’s text. For that reason, you can check the images below for each text option to get the sequence and remember which options to choose. Remember the sequence is 2, 1, 1, 2 to complete this quest.

The first dialogue box shows two texts:

1. Where were you that night?
2. Are you close friends with the chicken?

You need to select the second text “Are you close friends with the chicken?” without wasting time.

The 2nd step dialogue box shows two texts:

1. You can’t ever become a chicken
2. I think you kidnapped the chicken?

You need to choose the first text “You can’t ever become a chicken” without wasting any time.

The 3rd step dialogue box shows two texts:

1. What kind of secrets?
2. You really expect me to believe the chicken would trust you?

You need to choose the first text “What kind of secrets” without wasting any time as Coco can run away in the middle of investigation.

The last step dialogue box shows two texts:

1. Where did the chicken go?
2. Where did you bury the evidence??

You need to choose the 2nd text “Where did you bury the evidence?” without wasting any time as the dog can run away.

Note: This is experimented, so choose these options to complete The Case of the Missing Totopian quest.

If another person on this island is also doing The Case of the Missing Totopian quest (at this particular quest step), it resets the dog every time another person clicks on it. So, either be quick with your “g,” wait until that person is done or do the quest when fewer people are around.
