How to Farm Pawprint Tickets In Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has many upgraded items and materials to drop from wildlife and monsters. The Pawprint Ticket is one of them which is a Lynien ticket with shiny pawprint stamps.

In previous Monster Hunter titles, Pawprint Tickets were an item, and they make a return in the Sunbreak expansion. It is rare and not easy to find Pawprint Tickets. We’ll be checking out how we can farm the Pawprint tickets in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. Let’s not waste any time and jump right into it.

If we go into the small monsters list in our Hunter notes, we can see that there are two types of palico-looking enemies, Felyne and the Melynx.

Both of these enemies are likely to drop the Pawprint Tickets.

  • Felyne – 14% drop rate chances
  • Melynx – 20% drop rate chances

Remember that these Pawprint tickets cannot be obtained on high or low rank and will only drop on Master Rank Expeditions in the Shrine Ruins area.

When you are inside ‘The Shrine Ruins‘, go to the three areas marked on the map above. Take a tour of the three areas to spot these monsters at each spot.

Area 1 is the first location you’ll need to visit since you’ll find two Felyne monsters wandering around. The monsters are close to the rock gate and will be wandering in the high grass. When you reach the first spawning location, you will have to check the left- side of the road since one of the Felyne monsters will usually be found there.

While you’re taking him out, the second one usually runs out from behind the rock; if not, he’ll be somewhere very close. They aren’t guaranteed to drop items every single time, and when they do, they can be other things except for Pawprint tickets.

So once we’ve taken out these two Felyne enemies and alluded them, you can continue up to the second location at the top of the vie wall in area 2. There will be two Felyne enemies and one Melynx in the same spot.

Also, these enemies get away; you can’t actually kill them completely. They sort of fall over, and then they go underground, but that counts as defeating them, so don’t worry when you see them get away.

Then finally, the most important Area 3 is where we marked off on the map between seven and eight; there will be two Melynx enemies. This pair will lurk near the grass hill on the other side of the wall.

Once you’ve taken out those enemies, all you need to do is go into the menu, complete the expedition, and then restart it as many times as you need to get as many Pawprint tickets as you like.

Note: The right buddy is essential to help you avoid having a difficult time hunting for Pawprint Tickets. Your chances of finding these tickets will be significantly increased if you have a level 20 buddy with the Pilfer ability. At the same time, it is not necessary to bring two palico buddies but recommended.
